Is this the stupidest TV commercial ever?

Looking at it from Spain, it certainly is. It's also an insult to Spain as well as to my, and hopefully your, intelligence. A certain local mountain rag, which shall remain nameless here forever more, recently ran a whole story on Jamie Oliver's escapades in that mountain town, apparently part of a series the cook is doing on Spanish food. Oliver is intent on making a fool of himself: he capsized in his attempt to change the eating habits of US over-the-top consumers (consuming is what they do best, so why change?), his well-meaning endeavours with school meals in the UK has had ... um ... his coffers filled, if nothing else.

Back to Spain.

Some of the comments on YouTube, mostly but not all in Spanish: "That's all I needed." "I found this video appalling ... making light of bullfighting is just sickening." "SHAME ON JAMIE OLIVER!!!!!!!!!" "I do not care about Jamie's ignorance in confusing Mexico and Spain." "Shame on Jamie Oliver. You are an ignorant species! Really pathetic!!" "Insulting and non researched at all. Can somebody tell me why do BRITISH PEOPLE think that Mexican hats are worn in Spain? Also, paella is not from Andalucia but from Valencia. So, please do your research." "Obviously they mix everything any way they like. They might even think that Mexico is a province in Spain."

Quite.
